Rabbi Michele Medwin is provides spiritual services for the Jewish community at the Family Foundation School.
Rabbi Michele meets with students and they study Hebrew. She has put together a kit of Jewish Prayer Beads and many of the Jewish students made them last week to use to pray with. (similar to the Rosary that Catholic students use but with Jewish symbols and a prayer card with Jewish prayers.)
She also meets with the Jewish students on Monday evenings for dinner to discuss various issues that are on their mind relating to Judaism.
She also provides meditation sessions for all our students.

Shalom! My son arrived at FFS in November. I reviewed your site and am really impressed with your depth of involvement with the Jewish students. I purchased and began reading Rabbi Elie Kaplan Spitzer’s book , which I have found to be very inspirational and helpful in better understanding my son’s behavioral/mental illness. I hope he will decide to participate in your Mon. night class: he participated in a post-Bar Mitzvah class at our Temple ( Beth Rishon in Wyckoff, N.J.) and always kept the Rabbi on his toes! Thank you for your commitment to these very challenging students. With appreciation, Barbara Balkin
